Bob Woodall Jr. learned a lot from his father.

“He taught me that you don’t have to know everything, that you just need to know how to treat people and treat them honestly and fairly,” Woodall said, “and then come up with a plan and a process, hire good people – hopefully that are smarter than you are – and let them do their job.”

Those lessons helped him build the company his parents started in 1967 into what is now Bob Woodall Air Care Systems, a full-service heating, ventilation and air conditioning business.

Running a service business that deals with contractors, homeowners and other customers fits well with Woodall’s new role as chairman of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce.
