Found two loose or disconnected lines in the ductwork in my crawl space under the house. Tech was very professional and... cheerful in the heat. Found that to be uncommon these days. He was very quick with the work and explanations. Also took pictures to show me what my issues were. I have to say also you get great service from Bobwoodall. If you buy from them you definitely take priority when you make a service call. I was very surprised not to mention happy with service times. I have also heard they are higher than other HVAC companies. From my experience they are not that much higher in price with the unit I bought and the calls I made to them that was not related to the purchase such as my ductwork was more reasonable than anyone else. Maybe because I purchased a unit from them but in any case I look at it as satisfying customer. Which they did.read more

We were pushed by our general contractor to use a HVAC contractor that “Was not as high” as Woodall’s. Well, in the end... Woodall’s had to fix the cheaper options mistakes. Also, once I did some digging, I found out that the cheaper options prices really were not that much better. Bottom line: If you want it done right the first time and the product supported, Woodall’s is the way to go.read more

Outstanding customer service from the first person that answered the phone to the technicians that just left my home.... We discovered mold growing on our air filter and determined we needed the unit removed, cleaned, and the HVAC closet properly sealed up as it was not done correctly when our home was remodeled. Bob Woodall Air Care exceeded our expectations when they discovered more issues once the unit was removed. The technicians were knowledgeable and so pleasant even when telling us not so great news. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone with any HVAC needs. They even stayed after hours to make sure the job was 100%, with a smile on their face. My heater broke during the coldest snap of the year so far (the week of this past Christmas. They had to order parts... but they were back as soon as the part arrived. The Woodall employee that was here the majority of the time was very pleasant & knowledgeable (as were the others who came). In Dothan it can be 25 degrees one day and in the 70s less than a week later. But since Bob Woodall Air Care fixed my unit, both the heat and air are working perfectly. I recommend this company to anyone with heating/cooling/HVAC issues. Very affordable and professional.read more

Cody was awesome. Immediately diagnosed the cause of the problem and instructor me in how to avoid a recurrence. He... also noted that the hole in the ceiling of the air handler closet had not been properly sealed during installation. This allowed a significant amount of insulation to fall to the floor and also allowed hot air in the attic to be drawn into the air handler… not good if you’re trying to cool the house. We have 2 units in our home and both quit working Sunday. It got up to 86 inside that night - ugh. I left message... Sunday afternoon. Woodall called us first thing Monday morning and had a technician out here before noon. He vacuumed/cleared the drain lines on both units. That did the trick for one unit. The other unit needed some refrigerant added plus a minor fix. Both units were working fine within an hour or so and returned our home to a far more comfortable temperature. A guy from there called me on Sunday when I placed my call. My air froze up and it was really hot in my house for my... cats and myself. The guy told me he couldn’t come to my house because I was an hour a way. IF someone called him from Dothan he wouldn’t be able to serve them because I was an hour away. To me IF was a big word pending the fact that I had a need and was declined service because of an if. He even suggested I call another Heating and air conditioning place that ended up being closed. I called Fire and Ice out of Headland AL. He was at my house inside the hour and took care of it for me. He was very reasonable with pricing. Especially for Memorial Day. It was 150 dollars for 3 pounds of Freon and the service call. He was very professional and very prompt.read more

The person spent most of his time on the outside part of the Unit! He spent less than 15 minutes on the... inside.....Usually the maintenance person vacuums the vented door into the closet in the hallway where the inside components are housed; however this person did no cleaning whatsoever in the house. ! It is difficult to say or rate such a "service" when we are used to the "Unit Proper" inside the house has always received attention. Quite Frankly, more than this I cannot say. He was a nice.fellow, but whether or not we received "Proper Attention" for our Bi-annual maintenance today remains to be seen.....Out of 10, I would have to rate today's service about a "7"......Cannot give a higher rating due to what we know was not done! The entire repair was completed in less than two hours after I called. I signed up for their maintenance program and was able to save on the cost of the service call as well as the cost of the repair parts. I highly recommend Call Bob! IMO you will not be disappointed. After 6 years I decided we should have a/c serviced. Never had an issue with unit before they came. Less then a month... after they came out i managed to lose ALL freon in my system. I called & they said i would have to pay $75 just for a tech to come out. Pfft. Not even happening!! Fast forward about 4 months later they called to scheduule maintenance I told them not to bother they messed up my system. They then offered to send someone out "to verify it was their fault". Well this guy came out & looked at system & told me all the reasons I needed this $5200 system. (Granted yes we will just need a new system considering they will stop making this Freon in 2 more years & might as well put the money towards a brand new system. But another company told me it would be $3800. When I brought this up the guy said he was sure I was going to be sold some junk for that price & I would later regret it. I pride myself in talking about why investing in myself is a better choice but I would never put someone else down to do so. Also, I must add that a friend that has a home just 50 sq ft less then mine said she spent just $3000 with this other company so I am certain I was just getting oversold something that was beyond my needs considering I was selling the house when this warmer weather came around) I am not saying it's a horrible company but I am saying that's far from how I would accept doing business & I would most definitely consider someone else first.read more
